In August 2008, we purchased a 1996 Prevost bus to replace our 1971 MCI bus. The new bus is in great condition. It has 2 bathrooms, 3 bunks, a kitchen and everything you would expect to find in any normal motor-home.

  • It was converted in 1997.
  • It sleeps 7 people.
  • It is 45 feet long and 102 inches wide.
  • Powered by a 60 series Detroit diesel engine and has air ride.
  • It gets about 7-8 mpg.

We live in the bus about 8-9 months of the year. We homeschool our children while traveling.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful home on the road.

Traveling in a motor-coach saves churches money, as they don’t have to pay for our accommodations and meals when we travel.

We started saving for the bus in 2006 and paid cash for it when we bought it in August 2008, so we are free from debt. Praise the Lord!

Proverbs 22:6 says, “The borrower is a slave to the lender” We are all about freedom and believe it’s best not to borrow on a depreciating asset.
